I had the amazing opportunity to transform a product idea into reality through a collaboration with Infinikey. This project originated from a fan concept inspired by the popular Genshin Impact character, Yae Miko.
The IFK Miko keyset captures the essence and charm of Yae Miko by combining her character design with practical aesthetics for mechanical keyboards. Working closely with Infinikey's team, we paid careful attention to every detail of the keycap set to ensure that it authentically reflects the spirit of the original inspiration.

The Pilot
Original prototype for IFK Miko, made originally to add to my collection of Genshin inspired keysets. The booming response to this keyset was what caught Infinikey’s attention to pick up the project.
The response when I posted this keyset mockup was astounding, reaching 467,600 views and 103,000 likes on Tiktok, then 645,000 impressions and 16,000 likes on Twitter. Many were asking when this keyset would become a reality, and thankfully Infinikey was there to answer the call.

Infinikey’s involvement
When Infinikey took on the project, we worked together to design and make a product that matched the final design for manufacturing. The process included many color tests and experiments, which was a new experience for me. Having Infinikey's expertise on board, they helped us overcome challenges to bring our vision to life.
After experimenting with various shades of white, pink, and light pink, we finally settled on the best combination for the ultimate version of our product. Our goal was to enhance the original design I created by making it more accessible and feasible within the constraints of real-world color limitations. This process was what had taken the longest, due to our need to perfect the product and deciding for the release to be an in-stock drop.
Ready, (key)set, go
IFK Miko was launched on May 12th at 5:00 PST as an in-stock drop, stirring excitement among enthusiasts. In compliance with Hoyoverse’s fan merchandise licensing policy, we were restricted to a specific production quantity, and thus, we operated accordingly. The entire stock was quickly depleted within a few hours of the release.
I'm very thankful for everyone who supported IFK Miko, and I’m humbled that people can physically have a product I created. I'm especially grateful to Infinikey, because this wouldn't have happened without them.
